You reach the location and see two buses that are loaded with people, including children, and are ready to leave for Kabul Airport. You pray for everyone’s safety, board the bus and leave.
After a longer-than-usual journey, you reach the airport and witness heart-breaking chaos. There is sorrow, fear, anger, and desperation.
You realize that you have to get past five Taliban checkpoints to get inside the airport. The external checkpoints of the airport are under the Taliban, and only once you are able to make it past them will you be able to reach the main entrance of the Kabul Airport that is, under the Americans.

After a 3-hour-long wait, the members of the Taliban at the checkpoint do not let you in the airport, whereas you were informed that whoever has the documents will be allowed.
The Talibs do not seem to be Afghans. They are unable to understand a word of Pashto or Dari, and are, very aggressively, speaking in mixed Urdu and Punjabi. At this point, they start firing their guns up into the air to scare everyone.
It is now around five in the evening, and your bus is at the same spot, not allowed to move past the checkpoint. You try to get in touch with the Romanian Embassy and they tell you that they will try to do everything in their capacity, and ask you to maintain calm.
